The Riverbank Park rotunda was officially opened by Yass Valley mayor Rowena Abbey, Lions Club and the Yass and District Garden Club on Saturday August 2.

This community project by Lions used Lions Centenary Project Funding, helping communities across the world celebrate 100 years of Lions Clubs. Council also contributed $4,548 towards the project, constructing the concrete slab and the electrical connection, inclusive of lighting and power points.
The garden club sponsored the gardens and edges for the rotunda.
