The ensemble is made up of 50 school students in Years 7 to 11 from across NSW, including Corinne Green from Yass High School on the Alto Sax.
As part of the ensemble, the children are travelling all over NSW this week, and will be performing twelve shows in a cabaret style format.
“As well as giving students the opportunity to showcase and improve their performance skills they get a very realistic idea of what it’s like to be involved in the entertainment industry and life on the road,” Ensemble Coordinator Sharon Buikstra said.
The Illawarra and South East Performing Ensemble will play at 9am and 2pm on Wednesday November 15 at Yass High School and Yass Public School respectively.
