The incident occurred around 1:00am last night, and Inspector Alison Brennan of Yass Police said the details were currently limited.
A full report of the incident has not yet been released, but Inspector Brennan said that there were “minor injuries” according to the preliminary report, and that it was a single-vehicle accident, with the truck ending up on its side.
The cleanup efforts have required one lane to be closed, and the speed limit has been lowered to 40kph on the northbound road.
Meanwhile, the southbound road remains largely unaffected, but its speed limit has been lowered to 60kph to accommodate recovery efforts.
The RMS advises the community to exercise caution as the vehicle salvage takes place.
