Colourful students in costume, from rock stars to yellow fluffy ducks, took to the stage to showcase class items in the concert with their teachers.
The hall at Yass Public School was packed out with eagerly awaiting parents, grandparents, carers, siblings, friends and other students excited to see the show.
Yass Public School Principal Michelle Fahey said, “Included in Education Week festivities is a visual arts display in a shopfront (in between Cafe Dolcetto and Country Charm and Elders) in the main street. This display has artworks from seven of the schools in this area.
“The week will conclude with a combined schools concert on the evening of Friday August 10 at the Yass High School hall. The concert will begin at 6.30pm. Hope to see you there!”
