The story of this fictional book follows the imaginary journey of a young boy named Sean, who goes to Wee Jasper and other Jaspers with less polite names, during a family car trip to Canberra. Sean meets the nightmarish people of the four Jasper towns but manages to escape.
What’s more, the book was illustrated by Brianna when she was just 10 years old. Brianna is the great, great niece of the late Sister Stadtmiller, formerly of Devonia, Yass.
A fine choice for author Adrian Stadtmiller, Brianna’s grandfather and a retired secondary school teacher of Murrumburrah. Mr Stadtmiller said he wanted the book to showcase his granddaughter’s talent.
Heidi Grange of Grange Creative, Binalong, photographed Brianna’s illustrations for publication.
Brianna said, “It was a lot of hard work doing the illustrations but I enjoyed it – I’m very happy with how Tinkle Plop Barf Blurt looks now that it’s published.”
