The Murrumbateman Field Days, on this coming October 20 and 21 at the 40 acre site of the Murrumbateman Recreation Grounds, celebrates its 40th annual event this year.
This year, The Land has produced the official program which, if you haven’t already got a copy with Thursday October 11’s edition of The Land, will be available at the event gate as well.
You can also turn to pages 8 and 9 of a special event wrap on today’s edition of the Yass Tribune for a map that will give you a chance to plan what you want to see ahead of time.

There will be lots to see and do, and even more so this year. New features, displays, activities, demonstrations and even sporting competitions have been added.
There are also quite a number of vendors who have not had an exhibit at the Murrumbateman Field Days before.
Elsewhere in this wrap we summarise the event’s history, point out the various new things to see and enjoy, and we also talk to some of the exhibitors about what it’s like to participate in these field days and the kinds of things they’ll be able to show you and talk to you about, especially if you have more questions about something within their field of expertise.
Attendance is free for anyone under the age of 12, plus there are tickets for everyone else (12-16, concession or adult) available online or at the gate.
Parking is also free, plus you can collect a pass on your way out of the venue if you need to leave and then return the same day.
