In the B Grade, it was the Gundaroo Goats up against the Boorowa Cricket Club, while the C Grade featured the Yass Golf Club Taipans against the Binalong Bushrangers, both of which resulted in thrilling matches.
Gundaroo and Boorowa played at Joe O'Connor Park for the Sweeney Cup, and Boorowa won the toss and elected to bowl first.
An even 50 from Rob Clarke and 36 from Mark Oliver saw Gundaroo to a total of 154 from their 40 overs.
The standout bowlers for Boorowa were Josh Carmody and Nick Dwyer, who took three and two wickets respectively.
In response, Gundaroo struggled to contain Boorowa early in their batting innings, as they galloped to 1-91 from the first 18 overs.
"I think we probably felt on that ground that it might have been enough, but with another 30-40 runs on the board we would've felt more comfortable," Gundaroo player Mitch Callagher said.
"They came out a lot more aggressive and hit boundarries from the word go."
At the drinks break, Gundaroo decided as a team to stop pressuring themselves and just begin enjoying the match.
After the dismissal of Mat Ackland for 39, Boorowa proceeded to crumble. Within nine overs, they had lost their last nine wickets for 22 runs to be all out for 113.
"I was ecstatic," Callagher said. "We said you never know what might happen. We're pretty stoked with [the win]."
Meanwhile in C Grade, the Taipans won the toss at the Binalong Rec Ground and elected to bat first.
Having finished fifth on the C Grade ladder, the Taipans were moved to fourth following Murrumbateman's elevation, and proceeded to win their next two matches to make the grand final.
After making 183 in the first innings, with contributions from George Walker, Nathan Hopley, Lachan Kemp, and consistent starts from the rest of the batsmen, the Taipans rolled Binalong for 93 to claim the C Grade premiership.
Rob Clarke was named the B Grade Man of the Match for his decisive half century.
