Yass Police are seeking information from the public about a break and enter and an attempt to steal from a motor vehicle in the area on the weekend.

Sometime between Friday night and Monday morning, May 31 to June 3, there was a break and enter at a business on Rose Street in Murrumbateman.
Police allege the premises' door had been forced open and property was stolen.
Inquiries are being conducted and specialist forensic officers are looking for evidence to identify the offender/s.
On Sunday, June 2 about 7.40pm there was an attempt to steal from a motor vehicle on Monteagle Street in Binalong.
Police allege a person dressed in dark clothing was seen running off after a vehicle was entered and items were disturbed.
Police are reminding owners to remain vigilant, secure their vehicles and report any suspicious activity.
"It's not every day that we have reports of crime such as this across the Yass Valley," Inspector Matthew Hinton of Yass Police Station said.
"With the community's assistance, we can have these matters resolved quickly."
