Birrang Enterprise Development Company will be providing theory and practical driving lessons three days a week for the next five weeks at Zac's Place in Yass.
The lessons don't cost a cent and help many people get their licence. Last year, Birrang helped six local people get their P-plates and 11 people get their L-plates.
Birrang, meaning horizon, is a charity from Orange and aims to enable people living in regional communities to get around and get employed with a licence.

It's a Roads and Maritime Services recognised driving school and has five driving instructors, with another two in training.
The lessons were created for Indigenous people and people with a Health Care or Pensioner Concession Card, but instructor Brett Naden said he'll find a way to help anyone interested.
All you have to do is head to Zac's Place on Pritchett Street, behind the Anglican Church in Yass, on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday next week to get started.
Mr Naden will then be at Zac's Place on those days for the next five weeks, teaching theory between 9am-1pm and practical driving lessons in the afternoon. He can be contacted on 0427 300 606.
Mr Naden was previously a driving test examiner with the RTA, so knows all about the road rules and practical driving lessons needed to pass.
He said he is used to meeting people that already have some driving experience and can help to prepare those people for their test.
"As long as [people] come along and give me their time, I'll hopefully get them their licence, he said.
