The Junior Fleadh is a free Irish music and dance workshop run on the Saturday and Sunday of the festival.
The workshop will be held at Mt Carmel School, in the centre of town, and finish with a concert across the road in Lovat Chapel.
The students will learn from the festival's very own performers including festival headliner Strayaway Child.
The folk music duo, Chloe and Ben Hurley, will share their musical talents which include playing the Celtic harp and Uilleann pipes.

Mt Carmel's principal Michael Green will return this year to tutor the workshop and perform at the festival with Green Shoe on a Bender.
Fiddler Alison Bailey will also be on hand to help the students tune their violins and practice playing.
Festival organiser Janno Scanes said it's amazing what the children can learn in four hours.
"They don't need any previous experience. There were so many last year with no experience," Ms Scanes said.
Students can bring a musical instrument or D whistles will be available.
The workshop will run from 9.30am to 11.30am on Saturday and Sunday, September 14 and 15.
