The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) asked for the case to be adjourned to September to provide the evidence.
The evidence included a forensic chemist's report and evidentiary certificates (third-party evidence), the police prosecutor told the court on August 28.
Appearing via audio visual link, the four men heard the case had been adjourned to September 11.
Each is charged with the supply and manufacture of a large commercial quantity of a prohibited drug in a case investigating $9 million worth of cocaine made in a large-scale drug lab at a Yass property.
This was their second appearance. The men first appeared on June 5, the day they were arrested at a hotel in Yass. They are on remand in prisons across NSW.
Jordan David Stephens, 19, is in Cessnock Correctional Complex; Esteban Ricardo Forero Gomez, 25, a Spanish national, is in Long Bay Correctional Complex; David Quang Dung Pham, 35, is in Parklea Correctional Centre; and John Capistran Le, 40, is in Silverwater Correctional Complex.
A police statement released in June stated officers had found 30 kilograms of cocaine in the Yass River Road drug lab raid, as well as several chemicals used to make drugs, Australian and European cash, and mobile telephones.
The raid was part of Strike Force Judy, an investigation into the manufacture and supply of cocaine and methylamphetamine (ice).
The Melbourne-based solicitor acting on behalf of the Spanish national, Gomez, had arranged for Goulburn-based solicitor Rodney Boyd to represent him on Wednesday.
Mr Boyd told the Tribune he didn't know how Gomez would plea, and didn't expect the remaining evidence to increase the charges Gomez was facing.
No applications were made for bail and bail was formally refused for all four men.
