The Yass Touch Knockout competition is back for another year at Walker Park.
The popular event occurs every long weekend in January and this year will see 80 teams and at least 1000 players taking part, all trying to win up to $17000 in prize money.
Competitors will come from all over the country as well as from New Zealand, Japan and England which makes it the largest touch knockout tournament in the country.
There are expected to be three men and mixed divisions and two women divisions, but that could change depending on the final number of teams.
On Saturday, January 25, the event will be played in a round robin format which will see all teams compete while the following day will see feature the knockout competition.
The six a side matches will be 25 minutes long and include a change of ends after each touchdown.
The first touchdown in each match on both days except for the grand final on Sunday is worth three points while the second touchdown and each subsequent touchdown are worth two points.
Touchdowns in the grand final are worth one point.

A points system will operate on Saturday with three points for a win, two for a draw, one for a loss and no points for a forfeit.
Yass Touch Association treasurer Bob Monkley said he expected the weekend to be an absolute spectacle.
"This is a fantastic opportunity to watch some extremely talented touch teams and some quality touch football," Monkley said.
"Come down to support and cheer on the Australian players."
Play begins at 8.30 am on both days and will finish at about 4.30pm on Saturday and 3.30pm on Sunday.
This is the 33rd year the Yass Touch Knockout competition has run.
