
Motorists are advised changed traffic conditions will be in place on the Hume Highway as road safety improvements are carried out at Bowning from this week.
Work will be carried out between the two Bowning Road-Hume Highway intersections south of Bowning, to improve safety for road users with the installation of barriers, widening of shoulders and removal of trees.
This work will take place from Thursday, February 27 between 7am and 5.30pm from Monday to Friday and 7am to 2pm on Saturday and is expected to be completed in early April, weather permitting.

Traffic control, single-lane closures and reduced speed limits will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
