Time magazine has just released its World's Greatest Places of 2024 list, covering locations such as a chocolate factory in Hyderabad, India, and a "minimalist tea house" in Santiago, Chile, as well as some outstanding places to stay - from a distillery hotel in Leskovik, Albania, to the world's biggest cruise ship, Royal Caribbean's Icon of the Seas.
Three Australian attractions have made it to the 100-strong list, too. Indigenous-owned-and-operated Wukalina Walk in Tasmania has made the cut for "fostering a deeper connection with one of the oldest cultures on Earth". WA EV Network, which will soon become Australia's longest electric-vehicle-friendly road trip (from Perth to Kununurra in WA, with 98 charging stations along the 7000-kilometre stretch), has nabbed a spot for being "a more eco-friendly alternative".
