The lady bowlers held their Annual General Meeting recently and all passed committee members were thanked for all the work they got through in the past year. In 2013 Maureen Hall will be president, Helen Spackman and Kath Grace will be vice-presidents, Rhonda Corcoran will be Secretary and Lorraine Cooke will take up the treasurer role. There will also be a band of committee members who will ensure smooth sailing next year.

Mid-week pennants are well under way, with Yass fielding two teams in two grades last week. In grade three B Davis’ team had a 10 shot win and J Keith team had a five shot loss. But Yass won overall by five shots.
In the other grade L McGregor’s side had a 15 shot win and Rhonda Corcoran’s side had a three-shot win, meaning Yass won by 18.
Now the weather has improved Thursday nights Mixed Social’s will begin. Names are to be in by 5.15pm and you can call the club on 6226 1313. Food will be available.
Harden is currently holding Mystro Singles with Bev ‘Spud’ Scott and Kylie Besgrove in the draw. Spud had a great battle but came up trumps in the end, and Kylie is yet to bowl after getting two forfeits.
A get well needs to go to Betty Schultz who has been a bit off colour. I hope you have a speedy recovery so we can see your smiling face at the club soon.
