Leigh Pateman was a well respected and hardworking club member and it was lovely to have his son John attend the competition and present the award.
With dramatically reduced temperatures and no threat of a fire ban, 21 shooters took to the layouts on the day to contest the three-event program.
Congratulations from the club go out to visiting shooter Darcy Maloney who won the 25 Target Leigh Pateman Handicap event.
Darcy, who is a junior shooter, secured the win by defeating local competitor Glenn Barton in a shoot off.
With blustery conditions, there were some excellent scores with Fill Wales scoring 50/50 in the double barrel event and Leon Cuzner with 25/25 in the single barrel.
Congratulations also go to Glenn Barton who won the High Gun for the day with excellent shooting and a score of 95/100.
The club also hosted another day of shooting on Sunday, March 19.
