The Gregory and McCarthy under 8s Rams took on Rosary last weekend in a game that could have gone either way. Brodie, Lachlan and Jimmy all got involved to score, while Declan Cooke was unlucky not to. The second half started better and Yass was able to get back in front with two quick tries. Good strong forward momentum was provided by Jack Ryan, George, and Thoryn, backed up by Digby and Jack Shannon. The boys showed a lot of determination and finished with a win.

The Yass Valley Physio Under 10’s hosted Marist college in the under 10’s classic. Yass started well with a run-away try to Baxter after powerful hit ups by George, Thomas and Jack. Good defence by Clancy, Owen, Morrie and Angus. The second half saw Marist score early under the post but great support from Alex, Darrien, Jeremy and Hugh allowed Owen, Raffa and Hugh to secure the ball for Yass. The dash and final pass of Luke saw Baxter crash over to even the tries but Marist ended up winning by two conversions.
